Upleading to 310XT

I am new to Garmin and am trying to upload a course from a GPX file, Garmin Connect says I have succesfully uploaded but I can't find it on my dashboard. Probably being very thick!!

I have never found a way upload a Garmin Connect Course. Can you describe your steps? I suspect that you have uploaded an Activity which you can then create a Course from.

You are right I am trying to upload an activity from a GPX file I made from an OS map site. I click on the cross in the top right hand corner of my dashboard and click on 'Import Data'. I then find the file on my computer and then click to import. The prompt says I have already imported this file but I can't find it anywhere.
