gpx to garmin connect: how to upload a route

hi there
i made a rout with base map and export it in gpx format
i can't import that in my rout in garmin connect
is this possible?
if so i would be able to upload by Bluetooth in my garmin from the iphone

Just go to activity page and upload gpx as new activity; Then save activity as a route; del uploaded activity at the end.
