Cannot access Connections data (their privacy lets connections view profile data)

I can no longer access the data of my connections via the web APIs I am using. These connections have their privacy set to allow their connections to view their profiles (I had them do this to allow me to access their data).

This had been working forever and it just seemingly broke today (Tue Dec 13) sometime around midday PST.

Has something suddenly changed in this area? Thanks.

Been chatting with folks on the tapiriik site and this apparently could be due to Web API Auth changes on the Garmin side. Still investigating...

Solved (auth api change on the Garmin Connect side)

I've fixed the problem on my end.
