Opening garmin files

When i open the Garmin properties on my PC and all the files are in there for some reason Notepad is set to open all files how can i chance this and what is the default program to open these files?

Hello Bikeit,

What is/are the extensions? CSV GPX TCX FIT etc.
Download and install Garmin BaseCamp. Click > File > Import > then browse to your files.

Check Windows forums or do a google search to find out how to change Windows default programs as it's nothing to do with Connect.

As to what program should open Garmin files it depends which files and what you want to achieve.

The files are Fit ones im not looking to do anything with them but i used to be able to open them but for some reason notpad is now set as the default program to open the files but it wont open them, oh its the garmin Edge 500 im using
