I have successfully paired my 920xt with the HR and on a run it shows updated data as I move however, when syncing with Garmin Connect all my data shows up except the HR. My Watch is visible in connect on the screen as the 920xt but I get this error mesg in the HR box on Connect screen, “none of your current devices support this feature. Add a new device using Garmin Express… What do I need to do to make this field in Connect work? Thanks in Advance.
I guess its called a widget and should have the data from when I wore the Heart Rate monitor that came with my watch and that displayed current heart rate today, but instead I just get the box on Garmin connect telling me my 920xt doesnt support that feature. hope that helps, thanks for any help you can provide.
I believe its called a "widget". As i mentioned, the watch is paired and showing data from the heart rate monitor. My watch shows up in connect as a device but the heart rate widget in my dashboard displays the message that my 920xt isnt a supported device. the heart rate monitor is the one that came with the device and are new. Any advice you cane give is appreciated.
I have the 910XT so I can't be sure but I believe the 920xt doesn't do that.
The HR widget is only for those devices like the Vivoactive HR, Vivosmart HR, etc. which do 24/7 HR monitoring. Without 24/7 HR monitoring, the only HR info you'll get is associated to an activity.

Correct pshare. The 920XT will only display HR as part of an activity. Not sure what you are seeing on your smartphone nowayoutbutup, but it is essentially the same thing as on GC online. You will only see HR data when you are wearing a HR strap and have an activity in progress. While your 920 will show an HR when just wearing the strap, the information is not being recorded and, AFIAW, will not even broadcast that information to a smartphone.
