Listed Activity Always Wrong

Hi all. I use the Vivofit 2 and the only actual activity that I try to track with it is riding my stationary bike. It does a fine job doing this, but when my device syncs with the connect app it always shows that I was walking. Is there a setting somewhere that I can't find that makes stationary cycling my default activity? I can manually change it, which I do each time, but it would save a little time if I didn't have to do that.
  • With the VF2, does it show it as an actual activity or does it just show in your calendar (with MoveIQ)? Its there a way to select a specific activity on the device?

I know with the va-hr and MoveIQ, it often makes pretty bad guesses at what you are doing - Yardwork is seen as swimming, etc.

But with that device you can actually start and record a specific activity - "Indoor cycling", for example.

Maybe on the VF2, it figures out you're doing "something", and based on speed, etc, marks it as walking vs running?

The best place to check into this may be the vivofit 2 forum: https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?490-vivofit-2

It shows as an actual activity, it just lists walking instead of cycling. There's not a way (that I know of) to select an activity on the device.

I'll check that other forum too. Thanks!
