Corrupt sync--getting wildly wrong activities

After syncing, in Garmin Connect I have wildly wrong actives--rides on dates I never rode, places I never rode. And many of my real activities are missing.

Any suggestions for this--I deleted all the bad activities, and I have a complete .tcx file of correct activities. Do I have to pick through my activities one by one, export each one, and upload it to Garmin Connect? What if I deleted my entire account and started over by importing my .tcx? Anyone tried this? It's also wreaking havoc with Strava.
  • A Connect account can not really be deleted, you can only request Customer Support to remove the link between your email address and the account, so you can register again for a new account with the same email address. This will remove your forum ID. If it isn't too much trouble I would suggest using a second email address to register a new Connect account so you can continue using Connect, and call Support for help with the old one, they may get it sorted.
