CSV Splits Wrong

This subject is not new but annoying, just because it's not corrected since weeks and weeks.

CSV Splits @ Swimming and Running are useless as the entries with every split do not describe the actual split values but just the overall activity results (e.g distance, lap time, avg pace, best pace, avg swolf, etc etc).

The workaround would be copying from the intervals screen, but this is exactly what should not be necessary. That's why you offer a csv output file.

Finally tackle this problem pls.

Best,

  • csv split files are useless.

Why do you offer split files once your lap info concerns the overall statstics only. Swimming, Running became all useless.

Either you remove your csv output file or you get this right, finally. I'm tired of copying the split table with subsequent xml formatting.

  • I personally reported this issue in September.
Obviously something has changed, even the export file name. Previously it was activity number.csv, now it is Activity underscore activity number.
    The question is more like:
Why is Garmin not listening to user complaints?
Why is Garmin changing something which was working well in the past to something what is not working?
Why is Garmin not testing all changes first in a development environment before implementing it in a production environment?

Also, in GArmin Connect, please fix the time format to be consistent. by means displaying the zeros with a format mm:ss,0.

And finally, what would take you to implement the following suggestion? (I assume 5 minutes of work)

Pool Swimming in Garmin Connect. At the bottom, next to the Statistics are the Intervals displayed in table. In that table there are 2 useless(blank) fields/columns. The first is Intervals the second is Length. My suggestion is to mark the Rows in Intervals column from L1, L2, L3...L9999. The Rows in Length column would be Cumulative Length (as we have Cumulative Time in column 6). The Cumulative Length will be calculated as Rows in Interval column times Pool Length. For example L5 in case of 50m pool would result 250m cumulative length.

For time format and suggestion see the attached picture, if not clear...
