Garmin 235 won't sync

I have only had my Garmin 235 for about 2 months and I love it. I also have Windows 10 64 and the Garmin connect app from the Windows store. About 2 weeks ago this started to happen, whenever I connect my 235 to my USB charger Windows says it can't recognize this device or something similar. The device charged and I could still sync with Garmin Connect, but today it would not sync (but it still charges) and gave a similar error message. How do I fix this? I have been reading online that Windows 10 may be having issues, is this true?
