Garmin connect not syncing to Strava or My Fitness Pal after Garmin Connect Update

Using Garmin Edge 500 now for 12 months with absolutely no issues. Updated Garmin Express to V 4.3.00 two days ago. My activity still synchronises with Garmin Connect but won't synchronise with Strava or My Fitness Pal. Have tried disconnecting and reconnecting with both apps, but no luck. has anyone else experienced this issue ?
