Steps not syncing as of today

My watch displays 13642 steps. On the Android Connect app I see 13642 steps, however hourly the steps are all 0. Online at connect.garmin.com I see 13642 with hourly steps displayed correctly.

The steps are not being forwarded to myinertia a third party tracking site my company is using to track steps and intensity minutes for a Challenge I am taking part in. I know this involves another party and I have contacted them, but still my connect app itself is missing these hourly step details and I believe it's this error that is causing the third party app to no register steps for today. I attached a picture to show just exactly what I see.

I wonder if the ending of Daylight Savings Time has anything to do with this?

Over the past weekend the sync was down due to system maintenance. After it came back online all my heart rate data had disappeared from my iPhone app, but it still displays in the web page for Garmin Connect. I wonder if they had a major glitch with their system update or as you mentioned with the Daylight Saving Time ending?

Something definitely happened over the weekend. I've been having sync issues ever since yesterday.

It seems to be a DST issue. I looked at March 13th of this year and saw a similar loss of activity.
Sadly, it seems the problem is still ongoing. Sunday I lost steps, Monday I got full steps but one of my runs intensity minutes were not synced. Tuesday was about correct. Wednesday one run intensity minutes wasn't counted.

What sucks is I just started this corporate fitness challenge on the 6th and so far about half my minutes are not syncing. Everything worked fine during the 2 week trial period but after Sunday it's hit or miss.

Does anyone know if it's a definite issue with Connect?.

My Viviofit2 hasn't synced properly with the Connect App for the last 7 days. When I try to force a sync, it says it's doing it but then only lasts a couple of seconds, says it's complete but no data has been updated.

I've deleted and reinstalled the app. Deleted and re-connected the vivofit to the app but still not working.

    Any ideas folks??

    Many thanks.

Same thing has been happening with my Forerunner since Sunday.

The data is on the watch, the watch attempts to transfer data to Garmin Connect ... and Garmin Connect fails to record any of it.

    Repeatedly.

What's up ... and how many more days until a fix?
  • Sometimes sync gets messed up when there are even small differences in time between the device, mobile and your PC. Given that there was a switch to Standard time for a lot of the world last weekend, would look there.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to sync for that day?
My watch shows the data on 11/6 (the end of daylight savings, which is the day Connect had issues) but it won't sync to connect. It did work for Monday 11/7 and has since. I just want to get the data off my watch (Vivoactive HR) before it gets overwritten. I have tried syncing via bluetooth to my phone and USB through my computer. Neither will sync that whole day.
I see others have some kind of issue, but is there a fix?
