Reschedule training plan / training calendar

I am currently training Garmin connect 5K training plan. Because of injury I need to put 1 week off in my training calendar and move all 5K new trainings one week further. How to do this?

In the calendar click and drag 1 workout
A popup will ask if you want to update every workout, or just this 1

As steal.the.e.lephant has outlined above. It will move every (i.e. past, present and future) scheduled workout in that training plan in fell swoop. If you want to only move future ones, then you do so manually, one at a time.

Remember, a scheduled workout is not the actual activity, as far as Garmin Connect is concerned, and you don't convert a workout entry in the Calendar to an activity just by selecting it on your watch and completing it; therefore, moving past scheduled workouts will not alter the history of activities you have already completed. However, (after rescheduling en masse) the listed scheduled workout for a given date in the past may no longer describe or match the recorded activity, and the activity itself does not capture any references or markers as to which workout it was supposed to be.
  • I experienced the same thing.

  • When injured, do not reschedule. Just use the Pause function. Restart, once you are all right and ready to continue where you stopped.

  • The suggested answer worked for me in the Garmin mobile app, but not on the Garmin web site.

  • Please see the FAQs below for more information on rescheduling workouts.  Depending on what type of training plan/workout it is, the scheduling and rescheduling process may differ:

  • It did not give me the option of selecting a start date for the training plan and started the day I set it up. I had already trained that day, and wanted to start a few days on from setup date.  I would like to select my own start date.  Can this be done?

  • I'm relatively new to Garmin Coach. This is STILL an issue. I can reschedule a skipped/missed workout on the 5k training plan. Very annoying. Guess Garmin don't want you to reschedule a skipped workout, or worse, they don't case that their customers have an issue with this.

If anyone has found a solution please let me know

  • Skipped workouts in a Garmin Coach plan cannot be rescheduled.  If you are going to miss a workout, you will need to reschedule it before midnight on the day that it is scheduled.
