Connect Says Scale Has Updates Available But Is Already Updated

Garmin Connect says there's an update available for my scale even though it is up to date (2.70.0.0).

Is also says my user settings need to be synced. It has ALWAYS said that. How do I make it go away. The Scale automatically syncs with Wifi, or so I'm told.

Clicking the "x" only temporarily fixes the problem. It seems like it comes back every few days.

  • I have exactly the same issue with my VA and 910XT. It started when I bought the 910XT last summer. It perpetually says I have User Settings to update on both devices. I sync; the flags disappear; and a half hour later they're back.

    I have contacted support about this 2X.

    The first time they eventually said it was by design but I really think they said that because they were stumped.

    The second time I received an answer that if I delete the devices from Express and my account and set them up again, the issue should disappear. I haven't done it yet so I just clear the sync queue on Connect a few times a day. I have no idea if it will work.
