There was an error syncing Garmin Connect

Today my Garmin watch appeared to sync with the Garmin Express (it displayed "Transfering data" bar and appareared to finish) on my Windows laptop. Then Garmin Express popped up an error "There was an error syncing Garmin Connect".

The run is not showing on my Garmin Connect dashboard, my watch is not attempting to re-transfer the run data, my Garmin Express is up to date, my Windows OS is up to date, my Garmin GPS watch seemed to track the run and all its data, there was no use of the pause button (and anyway I have given up waiting for Garmin to fix the problem they created at the end of July regarding the loss of data thier server software suffers if I use the "Pause" button).

Anyway heres a picture of the problem I am seeing... appreciate it if someone can also tell me how I can get my run from today uploaded from the watch to Connect or force the watch to resend it.

This is the first time I have uploaded anything since Friday 28th so dont know when this started but the blank blue screen problem that the updates caused on Friday seems to be sorted anyway.

No idea whether it was a passing glitch at the server or a software update resolution but a forced upload worked today getting the data from Tuesdays run onto my account. I used this page
