Unable to upload activity to watch

I just finished a 12k run this morning using my 735XT and when trying to sync it to my iPhone it failed. So I used my Mac with Garmin Express. That told me the run was corrupt. However it did appear in Garmin Connect and subsequently in Strava. However, it is not on my watch. If I go into Garmin Connect I can see this activity and then select 'send to device'. It says complete but nothing ever appears on my watch. The 'last run' widget just shows my previous run before this one.

How can I upload this activity to the watch? 'Send to device' doesn't actually seem to do anything!

hello, I had the same problem this morning. I did a workout that was uploaded from Training Peaks , as I usually do. after finished it did not transfer the training to my Garmin Connect and I can not see the details of the activity in my watch.
