Where has the weight graph gone?

I used to be able to view a graph (I think in the report section) of previously entered weight data up to 12 months on one page, like in other reports' graphs available. I cannot find it anymore. Anyone knows if it is still available?
  • You can get to the graph by clicking the title of the weight widget. Then you can choose between 7 days. 4 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months.
  • The weight and health graphs seem to have been changed recently (over the last 2 weeks).  Now you can not select 6 months on the chart, and if you try and view the 12 month time scale, then all your measurements are aggregated into monthly values which is horrible.

Garmin needs to rectify this, or they will lose all their customers.

A bit of a drastic statement, perhaps?! While I understand, and can sympathize, with wanting to see individual values I doubt their will be mass defections due to this. Some might even like the aggregation and the change was actually a result of suggestions from the community?

  • Yes, it is a drastic statement.  It was written fast, and designed only to grab Garmins' attention.  Obviously they wont lose all their customers, they are a huge business.  But when you stand on a set of biometric scales everyday for 10 years, and trust Garmin to be your store of information, you would like to be able to access that information right?  Not LOSE the ability to view it.  Its very frustrating.

"and the change was actually a result of suggestions from the community?"  Not sure that is a question.  Or is it a statement?  Do you have a hyperlink to the suggestion if it is a statement?

Come on GARMIN, give us choice, or our data.  This is not acceptable.

  • It was mostly rhetorical, but still a question - merely suggesting that the change might have come about like that. I have no idea why the change was done or what motivated it.
