"Server Error -- We are having trouble communicating with our servers. Try again."

I am trying to add a new device to Garmin Connect (Forerunner 310xt), and I am getting this error message from Garmin Express after signing into my account. The green "ANT stick connected" check is highlighted.

"Server Error -- We are having trouble communicating with our servers. Try again."

It's been doing this for hours and all of the Garmin Connect status lights are green on the status page.

Any ideas?
