Map missing when importing training session

Last 4 outdoor training sessions all data from my Forerunner 630 are imported as usual, but the map is missing! Never happened before so I wonder if anyone recognize this?

    Same watch. Same issue.

    Worked ok on 12th October. But the activities since then have been without map. The rest of the data for the activities appears complete.

    Thanks! Although frustrating, good to know I'm not alone. For a while I thought my watch or GPS was damaged.

    Also NO Maps with Forerunner 230

    I have the same problem since I have installed the Update of the App "Garmin Connect" to Version 3.11.1.26 (IphoneSE, 64 GB). In this new Release are many bugs as you can read in this forum. So we have to wait for the next Update an hope Garmin will do his Job in a better way.

    yes - same here. Very frustrating :( I hope garmin will fix it and also bring past maps back. I reported it as an issue.

    Same here...FR630 no map...tried with fix tools but no success... :(
  • Turning the watch off and back on again has been shown to resolve this problem. I don't think it will bring back the sessions without the maps, but you should have maps after you do this.

    It seems to be common across the 230, 235, 630 and 735.

    I'll try that again. Did it after first "missing map", but well worth trying. Thanks!

    My Garmin 630 was not uploading map information. Thank you for this tip. My watch is now correctly uploading Map information again!
