The past 2 days my workouts have not uploaded to garmin connect. I attempt to sync and it says it has completed. my steps appear to cross over, but that is it. My IOS is updated, and I attempted to delete the app and reinstall to no avail. Any suggestions?
  • I have exactly the same problem. The only way I can upload my last run or workout ist through Garmin Express by connecting the watch to my MacBook with the charcing cable.

Frankly, I haven't been able to upload from my Forerunner 405CX since the classic version of connect went away. I've NEVER been able to upload successfully, on either my laptop or desktop, with the modern version.

Oh great I'm not alone! (OK sorry, not great but I'm just hoping this isn't a problem on my fenix 2).

Please let us know how to fix this "Sync Failed" issue via bluetooth. Wired syncing works but after getting a taste of wireless syncing, I dont want to go back to that again!
  • can't sync either

It seems like I'm not the only one who can't sync then. No data synced since the 16th. This is not just via bluetooth, it includes direct USB connection.
    Is there a solution?
  • Garmin GPS data no uploading

I also have not seen any uploaded GPS/map data into Garmin Connect on either my phone or computer from Bluetooth or wired upload. It is not clear why this has changed.

    Android supported devices

It looks like the last update broke my fenix2 bluetooth sync. The support gave me these supported devices and Nexus 6P isnt included. So I guess I will have to try from an ipad or another device.

  • I wouldn't put too much stock on the list of supported devices. For the record, I have never used a device that was on the list and it has always worked.

There is no way that a Nexus 6P should not work but stuff happens.
Perhaps forget the device and try to re-pair.

It has always worked since I bought it February. But I believe one connect update or fenix2 software update broke it.

fenix2 pairs to any of my devices but it just always failed in syncing. Removed device and repaired lots of times, even manufacture reset it, uninstalled app, cleaned cache, removed other bluetooth devices in my phone, like starting from scratch but it just always ends up with good pair but failed sync.

But when i pair/sync a vivoactive, it always works fine.
  • There are a number of threads and possible solutions on the Fenix 2 forum, some have helped, some not for everyone. Connectivity with F2 is difficult since version 3.10 of GCM and better but not great with 3.11 - installing an older version often helps, but not all older versions will work with a Vivoactive.

Aha! That might be it then, downgrade to GCM 3.10. Or follow what Garmin wants me to do, upgrade to a 735XT or a fenix3
