FR235 - No walk option??

I have just upgraded from my VivoActive (Non-HR) to the FR235 and was quite puzzled to see there's no activity for just plain and simple walk? That's even present on the VivoActive! I headed to the IQ store thinking I could just download it, but I didn't find anything. How come?

It's a bit of a mess to track is as other and then only afterwards change it to walking, especially since I use Endomondo and also would need to update it on that platform.

  • With the forerunners being "running watches", "walking" isn't on any of them.

Click on my signature, and you're see Hike that works on the 235 and records both walking and hiking. "Simple Walk" that is a scaled down "hike" just for walking, and "Indoor Walk" that' is for Indoor Walking.

If you ask in the 235 forum, "hike" is well known there :)

Hike2 is for devices with more memory, like the va-hr and 735 (and it does have more features)

Simple Walk has only been in the store for a bit over a week - A main screen that looks like a watchface, features of hike (but no waypoints), but has things like auto lap that Hike doesn't.
