Ran Half Marathon but not showing in Personal records

Is there anyway to fix this?

I ran the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon, my first ever, it was calculated with a microchip that I ran the 13.1 miles in 1hr 48mins

However Garmin Connect has me down as having never ran a half marathon before as the distance is slightly out, probably started my watch a moment too late it stopped it a moment too early.....
  • Garmin let me down too

I had a 330 day streak of meeting my goal of at least 10,000 steps a day. Yesterday there was simply no data, today it is working again. Garmin is replacing my device but will not put in the missing data, so my streak ends. I went through two surgeries and maintained my daily goals only to have Garmin let me down. I did the work, Garmin did not do their work and they do not care about fixing it. KSmith4880

    Hello Burns85,

Attach a copy of your FIT file and maybe I can add in the missing distance. Its also possible that the actual race was short??
  • On the website , Garmin Connect , you can from the gear icon select - 'assign as PR' , might want to edit distance first to 13.11 to make it valid....and then assign it. then go to PR list and 'send to device'.
  • Based on your comment I think issue is that for Garmin you didn't finish / run half marathon - some meters short.
So only way to fix it is as recommended below - manually add it under Half marathon PR.
