Forerunner has been robed

Hi all,
The forerunner of my father has been robed and I would like to know if it possible to see when and where it have been connected for the last time. Also, I've the serial number..
What did you think ?
  • If anyone uses it on Garmin Connect then they would have to use the serial number when adding it to their account

I don't know what Garmin's policy is on this but I suggest that you contact them with proof of ownership.

However I guess it is unlikely that someone would be stupid enough to register it.
  • This came up in the forum some months back. Not sure what the resolution was, if any, but you should be able to find out by digging into the forum.
  • I lost my vivofit when it fell off my wrist about 2 years ago. Garmin could not identify whether someone had tried to set it up afterwards.
  • I think for "could not" it should say "would not" - Garmin must be able to see whether the device is registered on connect but can only share that information under certain circumstances due to data protection issues. I think they would only divulge the information on request from police which I guess is not going to happen.

Not sure what happens if a device is registered to 2 garmin accounts
  • Under certain circumstances, it's possible to have the same device in 2 accounts as I have done that. I had the same vivofit setup in Express with one account and mobile with another.
  • Thanks you.
I think that my request won't be approved by Garmin's policy. I've forgot that...
We have buy a new forerunner.
