Hi,
I would like to know if is there a way to check my workouts even when the pc is offline.
More precisely I would like to know how I could download the workouts to the pc.
Thanks in advance.

You can't because everything gets stored in Garmin's cloud and nothing on your PC or mobile device.
  • It depends on the device and what you might have on your PC to read the files. Some devices mount as external storage and you can access files on your watch like any other file on your computer. Some devices (910, 310 etc) save their files to a location on your computer so again, you can access files sent to your device.

But all that is to no avail, if you do not have a program that can read them. Garmin used to have Training Centre available. There are still some folk on this forum who might have a copy you could get hold of. Then you can use that to look at the files.

Training Center ... good tip ... sorry, I forgot that ... it's still available:

If your browser shouldn't automatically choose the correct region, you can choose it in the upper right corner. In my case it always defaults to German, so I posted the German link.

actually you can do it by installing an emulator(for example android - with bluestacks or vmware or parallel) then install garmin connect on it and pair it with your smartwatch.

Garmin Connect Mobile needs an internet connection, right? So an emulator is not useful.

The above mentioned Garmin Training Center does the trick ;)

    Thanks for the answers,
    I have a forerunner 405CX device and unfortunately it hasn't a internal storage :-(
I installed "Garmin Training Center" but I discovered it doesn't sync the activity with my device, I don't know why...it recognizes the device but then doesn't work.
Now I'm trying to download the activity store in garmin server using a pyton script found on the web, if it works I'll inform all.
  • Training Center..

I'm on Linux, and want to save the Training Center software for later, for use in Wine or Virtualbox, but the link redirects me to a page where I can download Garmin Express and Webupdater and Mac software. Is there another way to download it?

If the download of the Windows version fails from a Linux machine, install Virtual Box and setup a Windows VM, e.g. with an evaluation version ... or ask a friend, who has Windows.
  • I never before realized I don't have any friends who use Windows.. LOL! But I'll find someone at work I guess. Thanks!

No Windows friends ... LOL ... did you try this link?

    http://www.garmin.com/de/extras/sport-extras/trainingsdaten/ant/

If it doesn's work, maybe install Firefox Windows version in Wine and try from there?

PS: I didn't check, that this link leads to a US site, that doesn't have Trainings Center.
