Status page is very far from real-time reality

connect.garmin.com is not responding at all at 21:39 UK time.
Eventually throws an error message that it's 'Down for maintenance'.

Yet the status page says all is well.
Which it's clearly not.

How real-time is the status page?

Not very, it seems.

Agreed. The site is clearly down right now yet the status page indicates otherwise.

Given that the up/down status seems to vary from one person to the next, then it's probably a clustering issue.
Different people are hitting different servers.

There's probably a cluster of web servers handling the front-end queries, all hitting the same back-end database.
Some of them are possibly a little sick, whilst others are OK.
Or somesuch nonsense.

Anyways, whatever the issue, it's plain that the Status page does not accurately reflect the real-world status.
