For my taste I see this "sorry, down for maintenance" too often.

Besides that I can't sync my VAHR to GCM, which seems to be related.

Hey, Garmin, ever heard of high availability for web services?

Embarrassing

    Connect Still Down

The site has been down for me (Canada) for the last 2 days, exactly the screen below coming up.

Mobile still works and all the connectivity to the app and partner apps is working.

Still down for me, in the UK.

Just getting a text page saying:

    Menu
    Notifications
    Queue
    User Menu
Help Status Pinterest Statement of Privacy Terms of Use Security
Connect is powered by Garmin • Copyright © 1996-2016 Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries • Version: 3.10.5.0
    Activity Tracking Accuracy

Have cleared cache, tried other browsers, but to no avail.

I'm getting the same message for a few days now (UK). It briefly worked on Firefox but that's gone the same way as the other browsers (Opera, IE, Chrome). Nothing to do with clearing cache. It's very annoying as I need a TCX file but there's no way to save them using the android app version (which still works) as it's very basic.
  • I have spoken to the support team and they have taken the details this afternoon. After going out to walk the dog (too much information) I return to find if I use my mac and use firefox I can log in to my own and my wife's Garmin connect account as normal. If i then try safari i get the limited screen(menu, notifications, queue etc). What confuses me even more is that if I use my wife's mac account, in both firefox and safari, to log in to Garmin accounts neither work. I'm not sure if this information will help anybody work out what has happened but thought I would share it.

It's started working again for me on Firefox. TCX download still doesn't work but 'original file' does so got what I needed.

Just because some people reported issues in Safari on OS X ... fine for me on El Capitan with the latest updates.

So it just seems to be a regional problem, I guess.

All working fine for me now, first time in 4 days I've managed to get onto the site, Safari and Firefox on Mac desktop.

    Thanks for your assistance

    all working here now :D
  • All working this morning. Would love to know what the issue was at Garmin.
  • Well if it was at Garmin it must have been limited to certain accounts only, consider yourself special ... :)
