For my taste I see this "sorry, down for maintenance" too often.

Besides that I can't sync my VAHR to GCM, which seems to be related.

Hey, Garmin, ever heard of high availability for web services?

Embarrassing

Even http://www.garmin.com/uk/support/contact-support is not loading correctly.

    Confirmed.

PS: Visit the following US support site and try to change the location to UK in the upper right corner:

    http://www.garmin.com/us/support/contact?#fragment-1

If you choose UK, it falls back to US, if you choose Germany it works.

So it seems Garmin has major web service issues in the UK currently.
  • I'm in the UK and it's been working fine for me. Call the UK freefone number and get help with your system.

Give me a break. It doesnt work across multiple systems, multiple browsers and my mate across the road has the same issue. Just because it works for you does not mean that theres not an issue as the number of people reporting it here attests to. Your assumption that its my system is not helpful.

Edit: Found I can at least plan my course if I dont use the modern theme - https://connect.garmin.com/courses
  • I'm not having issues however,

More than a year ago, when some of us had issues and others didn't, one of the posters in the thread said he got it to work by using a VPN that placed him in Singapore. I tried it back then and it worked. When we reported in the thread that the VPN worked for us, it pointed our moderators to what to tell the developers.

It's something to try if you can.

You can complain here as much as you wish but Garmin staff only pop in here infrequently. And just because there are a few people here with issues doesn't make it a system wide problem, as I and others have posted above it's working fine for us. It's quite possible for example that it's ISP related if 'you and your mate across the road' are both having issues and you use the same ISP.

Call Product Support, that's what they are there for.

    Edit: Just connected again perfectly.
  • Yes I will call support in the morning once they are open. In the mean time Ill complain on the forums so others can see they arent the only ones having issues, thus using the forum as it was intended. Perhaps if moderators didn't immediately try to shut down others posting problems there might be more reported and you might accept that Garmin have an issue. Given that they acknowledged issues over the previous days on twitter, is it really so hard to believe they they are continuing to have issues in certain areas?

Also the issue is clearly diagnosed above, the CSS mime type is set incorrectly, I get the exactly the same issue. I really dont think that my ISP is responsible for configuring Garmins webservers.

The stylesheet https://connect.garmin.com/modern/css/style.min.css?bust=3.10.5.0 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".create
The stylesheet https://connect.garmin.com/modern/css/style.golf.min.css?bust=3.10.5.0 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".create
The stylesheet https://connect.garmin.com/modern/css/style.marine.min.css?bust=3.10.5.0 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".
  • USA user having Connect issues, too.

Connect has been like this for the majority of my evening (1-2 hours now).

  • I am getting exactly the same as Hammie023 is seeing and I have done so for the last day or two (I am in the UK).
  • See various posts above, what has resolved it for some is to clear the browser cache ...

Ye Gods, you're all over this thread like a nappy rash. People are having issues with Garmin Connect. This is a forum about Garmin Connect. So the idea is that we come here to discuss issues about Garmin Connect. If you can't contribute anything helpful, please stop being a PITA and go away.

And still down for me in the UK this morning, for the third day.
