I use Garmin Connect with a Forerunner 230 for running. Until 3 weeks ago, Garmin Connect displayed a map of the route at activity level. Now it no longer shows this. Looking at Garmin Connect I cannot find an option to display the map, so I assume it is an automatic feature based on data transferred from my Forerunner 230.
On my Forerunner I have GPS switched on and made no changes in settings or how I use the device. One change I did make that coincides with the loss of the map display is to replace a phone that was paired to the Forerunner. I cannot see how this could affect the Garmin Connect display or the data recorded by my Forerunner.
Apologies if this is a stupid question but I have read the manual and looked at the Forum without being able to fix it. I am keen to get the map display back as it is one my favourite features of Garmin connect. I am hoping there may be a simple answer ...
