Vivosmart HR, one offline activity storage

Hello there,

I am using Vivosmart HR. In the recent days I have recognized a problem. The problem is not related to the Garmin Express (PC) or Garmin Connect (Android).

After few experiments debugging shows:
1. Few random activities are produced - they are shown in Menu->History,
2. The Bluetooth connection on the Fitness Armband is disabled to prevent upload any activity,
3. The device is connected to the PC (in my case Linux OS), mounted as mass storage device. In the ACTIVITY folder on the device, only one FIT file is shown,
4. The device is unmounted from the Linux OS and disconnected.
5. Only one last activity is shown in the Menu->History.

The same procedure with another Vivosmart HR works correctly - all files are visible in the ACTIVITY folder.

Is there any solution/fix? Is a fix planned for this issue? If not, where and how to register a bug? If not possible, does there exist an open source firmware, so that I could fix this bug/propose a solution?

Best Regards,

    Firmware updates

    Hello again,

after doing some firmware testing I have found out, that the updating to firmwares 2.90, 3.07, 3.40 did not change anything. I still record only one last activity.

When the firmware was updated, the time: minutes and date - remained the same.

    Best Regards,
