Connect doesn't sync with VAHR

I'm using the charging cradle to sync my Vivoactive HR on a laptop.

Last week, as I did that, the screen on the VAHR went blank and froze. I got it reset, but all my data for the day was wiped. Now, it will sync with Garmin Express but the data is not being transferred to Garmin Connect. Additionally, although I have done 2 factory resets to default, and have the VAHR displaying correct time and date, as soon as I sync it, and unclip it from the cradle, the time remains correct, but the date becomes 3 weeks earlier (ie today it thinks it is Tues 23rd). I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Express.

Completely baffled.............
