Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

When I am trying to export an activity, I get this error:

HTTP Status 403 - You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

type Status report

message You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

description Access to the specified resource (You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.) has been forbidden.
JBossWeb/2.0.0.GA

I end up going to the old Garmin Connect and exporting from there, but when that goes away then what? Anyone else get this error?

    Error when exporting to GPX

    Hi, Garmin peers:

This is the error I receive when, from "Activities", I try to export to GPX. Also when I try to export to TCX. The export to Google Earth gets a KML file that Google Earth opens but it seems empty.

Any suggestion ? I'm working with Google Chrome under MS Windows 10 Pro 64 bits.

  • What is the URL of the activity?

Does it happen for just that one or other ones too?
  • Broken for me too. Refresh won't help with tcx.

TCX export just worked for me after not functioning for a couple days.
  • Same problem

I cannot export to any format. It's been like this since the weekend. Worked on Thursday, but not since.

The GPX activity export that worked just fine on my office PC at work today failed repeated attempts on my PC at home just now. Something is still wonky. I cleared cookies, logged out and back into GC, but no love on the GPX side of things.

Oddly, a TCX export worked after a page refresh of the typical error screen everyone is getting. I also exported a FIT file format of the activity.
  • Same problem

Just the same error as you commented:

Unable to export to .tcx, .gpx but some casual times it works (5%) and the ugly server side error.

I don´t understand how Garmin permits this things...

    Cheers

Just exported and assumed Garmin had fixed the issue. then went to do a second activity and get the same problem again. Come on Garmin and get this fixed.
  • Still not solved...

today I cannot even get the tcx to download when I try more often....
Export to GPX doesn't work as well.

And no official statement so far!

    WTF?
