When I am trying to export an activity, I get this error:

HTTP Status 403 - You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

type Status report

message You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

description Access to the specified resource (You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.) has been forbidden.
JBossWeb/2.0.0.GA

I end up going to the old Garmin Connect and exporting from there, but when that goes away then what? Anyone else get this error?

    TCX export

I am also getting an error page when trying to do a TCX export. Tried logging off an d logging back in and got one TCX export to work then on the second attempt the error message returned. I even went back to the successful TCX export and tried again and got the error message on the second attempt to do the TCX export.

I got "HTTP Status 500 - the server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request." error message!!

HTTP Status 500 - detailMetrics or metricDescriptors is null or empty

Thats the message I have been getting for about 2 weeks. Got this on IE and Chrome. Do we know if they are going to do something to fix this? Seems to be affecting MANY people.
  • I submitted a case to support on 9/30. Received the following response on 10/5:

Our developers are aware of an issue some users are experiencing when exporting to TCX, GPX or Google Earth. They are currently investigating this issue and are actively working on a resolution.

  • csv export has gone down the drain

Just empty files in most cases. Please take action, Garmin.

    - Road.
  • The fit file don't have a point gps. Restarting the watch reportedly solves it
  • HTTP Status 500 - no GPX Export

Thanks and good to know that somebody speakes directly with the Garmin development team :)

    - Hopefully, they will not just listen but DO something within a reasonable time, now.

(and in future: TEST their new developments BEVORE deploying it with old known errors).

I hate to jinx myself, but did Garmin finally get the glitch fixed? If so, thanks are in order.

For the last four days I have been able to export TCX files on the first attempt. Anyone else experiencing success with TCX/GPX exports again?
