The other day I synced my watch (FR10) with Express, and opened Connect to look at the data. The Connect web app kept prompting me to create a profile name, which I already had. I couldn't access my data until I did this, so I did. Now, I have a new/wrong profile name, which is the display profile when I log in to Connect. When i sync my watch, though, all my data is apparently being synced to the old/correct profile, so the new/wrong profile shows zero workouts.
I can't access the old/correct profile through the web app, and I can't manually change the profile name in settings, because when I try to change it to the old/correct name, the site says that that name is already in use (no kidding! by me!).
I also removed my device from Express and reinstalled it, removing it from Connect in the process. That didn't work, as the device still seems to sync successfully but the data is not accessible to me on Connect.
I also can't create a new account, because my email address is already in use, and apparently Garmin makes no provision for deleting an account completely and starting over. I'm not about to create an email account just to use Garmin Connect. So my guess is that someone at Garmin has to access my account and either remove the new/wrong profile name and revert to the old/correct one, or else delete the account completely (worse option).
I have contacted customer service without a response. Any suggestions about what to do?
