Garmin 920 steps don't match with Garmin Connect some days

I have had a Garmin 920 for almost 2 years and love it. Works great for tri training. However, it seems lately that the step count total occasionally will be less on Connect than on my Garmin. The only thing I might be doing is placing it on an overnight charge prior to a sinc and then it doesn't recognize the last steps since the last sinc. Has anyone else had this problem, or is there a fix to re-sinc previous days steps. Thanks

    Hi,

    Facing exactly the same issue.
    I noticed also that on the daily recap for the steps day on Connect, there is a red clock near to the date. There is an info saying that due to changes on time zones done by myself, I should wait for tomorrow.
    But I never changed the time zones. I just charged the battery of my watch, same as you...
