Connect app vs Connect

Hi,

I have a vivosmart hr+ & use both Connect App and Connect (on the computer).

The story: I went for a walk and turned on the appropriate feature to track it on the Vivo. I tried it with the autopause set to on, however found that not to work as I desired. I turned the setting on the Connect App to off, and thought nothing of it, that it would sync with the watch and that would be the end of it. I charged my phone off my computer, and of course it syncs when connected. Went for a walk the next day and the autopause is back on! No problem, I lived with it again. I went to check setting on the Mobile app and the autopause was back on, instead of the off setting I thought I had. I set the app back to off, AND set the connect autopause to off also. I haven't gone for another walk since doing this and hope the autopause is off for good!

My question/problem is shouldn't the Connect App and Connect sync to the latest setting (where ever it was done)? If not which takes precedence? If one always takes precedence of the other, is there a setting so that I can designate the "master"?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Vivoactive HR, so I can only guess, that the Vivosmart HR should be the master ... that means you need to switch it off there by editing the Walking profile. I hope, that's similarly possible as on the VAHR.

I did that with the rounds count ... when walking I don't walk rounds ... what an idiotic default setting for walking in opposition to running. I hope, that the VAHR will keep this change even after being switched off.

PS: Maybe ask again in the Vivosmart HR forum.
