Electric shock collars for dogs... really? Bye!

Garmin, due to your new "dog training" device based on positive punishment I am going to have to close my account which I have had for years and buy all new equipment from a different company. This is extremely disturbing. I am a dog trainer for a large organisation and find this kind of training abhorrent. It's basically a shock collar with a different name and a clever advert. Farewell. I have ordered new watch now. cant shut account so will just stop using.
  • I wouldn't worry too much.
If previous Garmin products are anything to go by, the hardware will be amazing and have all the features you could ask for.
The whole thing is going to break because of buggy software, and customer service are going to deny there's a problem and recommend people hard-reset their dog collars.

"No dogs were trained in the making of this product."
