Connect not tracking Vivofit steps accurately

I have noticed that when I look at step trends over time for my Vivofit that Connect is not recording them accurately. For instance, after synching this morning I noticed that the steps recorded for the month of September seemed too low versus the goal since I had been exceeding my step count every day of the month. Connect shows that for the month of September, I have taken 93,711 steps. But, if I add up the actual steps taken on a daily basis for September, I have taken 109,624 steps, 15,913 more than Connect has recorded. I have ssnched several times but the issue remains. Makes me wonder what else is not being recorded properly.

Anyone else come across this problem?
