Connect/Fenix3/MFP HR calories too high

Hi there,

I've just got a fenix3 HR and am using MFP to track calorie intake, however it seems like it thinks I'm burning way more calories than I actually am (I've only walked about 3 miles today and it's saying active calories of about 3000). Is this something that anyone else has experienced, I wonder whether MFP is syncing my calories burnt to Connect/Fenix. Is this a problem that anyone else has had and how have they managed to solve it?

I don't really want to unlink MFP unless there is an alternative for tracking my calories intake?

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

Exactly the same for me, except I'm wearing a Vivosmart HR, which indicates to me that the problem is on the Garmin server side.

Garmin, get on this and reply to some of these posts complaining about active calories. Remember you had all the service issues and created the status page to update customers. This is the same thing, a broader issue that your customers need to know about.

    Best,
    Shawn
