every time your weight changes you manually update it in Garmin :( I'm not sure where though, it looks that there are multiple places and I think some of them are not in sync (like in Garmin Connect app vs the watch itself)

Yep, tried this one too. Works without hitch.

But there is no need to install from APK, it's in Google Play now.

The worst of this app, one can't connect to scales without Zepp/Mifit or third-party apps - to get a MAC-Adress. So I just wrote this address on internal side of scales' battery door

Do you have a firewall on your device? Please try to connect with both mobile data and Wi-Fi. Otherwise, I have no ideas.

I don't have a firewall, I use mobile data and WiFi every day, the problem is the same with MiScale Explorer.
