Hi guys I'm the author of the Mi Scale Exporter. I'm happy to see that it works well (in most of scenarios) and thanks for all the feedback.
Originally the app was for my own purpose, so it is…
Yep, tried this one too. Works without hitch.
But there is no need to install from APK, it's in Google Play now.
The worst of this app, one can't connect to scales without Zepp/Mifit or third-party apps - to get a MAC-Adress. So I just wrote this address on internal side of scales' battery door
You are trying to establish a secure connection, but it has failed. There could be several reasons for this:
Your connection may be compromised due to viruses, poor VPNs, or someone monitoring your traffic.
You may not have root certificates, such as ca-certificates in Linux.
The most probable reason is that you have the wrong date/time on your device. A significant time difference can prevent the establishment of a secure connection.
However, you have not provided sufficient information about your problem, such as the device you are using, where the problem is occurring, and how you are connecting. It is necessary to provide more details to better understand and address the issue.
In app settings there is "Use External API" checkbox.
It must be unchecked. Or checked and with non-default API endpoint (one can run on it's own server).
But better report an issue here.
