Resting HR, Blood Pressure, Body Composition

Hello,

Is it possible to enter and track the following data types into Garmin Connect?

- resting heart rate
- blood pressure
- % body fat

Thanks
  • No.

Resting heart rate is automatically tracked if you're using a registered Garmin device equipped with a built-in optical heart rate sensor as the designated 24×7 activity tracker for your Garmin Connect account; you cannot enter the data manually irrespective of whether you have one of those.

The other metrics are simply not tracked in Garmin Connect, which is not meant to be a complete or comprehensive health and fitness tracking platform. Aren't there other platforms you can use for tracking such metrics, and perhaps into which you can also enter and track what Garmin devices will capture and upload to the Garmin Connect service?

    Thanks for the answer.

I don't really understand "perhaps into which you can also enter and track what Garmin devices will capture and upload to the Garmin Connect service?"
Could you please explain via example?
  • What I meant was, instead of looking to Garmin Connect for giving you a complete picture of your health and fitness, perhaps you should be ‘shopping’ for other (free or paid) platforms that will track everything you want, even those that do not take a direct data feed from your Garmin device and/or the Garmin Connect service – hence you may need to manually enter or ‘copy’ data from Garmin across.

It's not my personal objective, I haven't shopped around for such platforms, and I don't have one in mind that will work for your intended purposes.

Personally, if possible. I would like you add a graph equal or similar to that used to go to record the weight, but for blood pressure, although measurements removing them from another device, and in one place could have all my records. And not having to take them separately. As repeat if possible develop for garmin connect.
