Today I came back from a run with my Forerunner 225 and uploaded the data. Normally I look at the data with the X-axis as time, and today one point in time is frozen and spread across 90% of the graph, with the rest of the data crammed into the leading and trailing 10% of the graph. If I change the X-axis to Distance the display looks normal. What happened? Is this a temporary glitch or is there a setting I can change? My FR225 is running software 2.90.0.0.
  • Can you show the run? What is the overall duration? Did you forget to save the previous run?

Yes, here is the heart rate data plotted against time (top trace) or distance (bottom trace). The time trace appears to freeze at 8:43 into the run, and stays there for most of the graph until it resumes on the far right, compressing the last 35 minutes into the right-hand side of the graph.
  • Without more information, it looks like the run was something like 9 hours long overall.

Before you use it next you could try power cycling the watch (turn it off, leave it for a bit and turn it back on).

Failing that a reset might be in order. You could try a soft reset before trying a full reset. You might want to go searching thorough the 225 forums to find out how to do it.
