Just curious if anybody else has noticed big discrepancies between calories reported on their Garmin Device vs what Strava gives?
For example, I am using a Garmin Edge 500. ON my bike ride today, it says (as well as on Garmin Connect) I burned 1267 calories. When the track uploads to Strava and Strava does it's thing, it reports back 618 calories. I'm wondering why such a big difference?
For reference, this was a 25 mile bike ride, 690 ft of elevation gain with an average pace of 15 mph. Which sounds more accurate, who to trust?
