Intensity Minutes using Edge 1000

I have two devices, Edge 1000 and Fenix3 HR. When recording rides on my Edge + HRM (without the Fenix3) the intensity minutes do not show in Connect. All the other data syncs fine.

Is this a special 'feature'? Is intensity only measured on the Fenix3? I don't see the point of taking the Edge and the Fenix3 on my rides with me...

Anyone have any suggestions or solutions?
