Hi everybody!
I ask for some help if anyone have a better idea,i purchased my sat nav Garmin nuvi 56LM a week ago and i tried to update maps.The sat nav is coming with full europe life map update.The mistake i done is, i delete the gmapprom.img ,Gmapbmap.img and gmappz.img file from the sat nav system thinking i make more space for the new update.i should save it but by reading someone else tutorial i thought is the best way to do.After strugling and wasting a lot of time trying to recover those files the only thing i could do it is to recover those files from another satnav i have nuvi 55LM which have life time update only for western europe.The sat nav is working now but when i connected with garmin express is giving me updates for western europe,not whole europe like originaly came with.I could leave it like that but i bought it this sat nav to give as a present to my father which leave in eastern europe:))). I send a mail to garmin customer centre and i wait for an answer.Did somebody know how i can recover the original file gmapprom.img to make my nuvi 56LM work like at the beggining with the full europe map and full europe updates.
