GC setting alerts and vibration to OFF on device

So I noticed that every time my device (735XT) syncs with GC, (on android, can't speak for PC or iOS), it resets the alerts and vibrations to 'Off'.

This has happened both before it updated on the Play store and afterwards, so I don't think it's a bug that's unique to this android version.

I can switch them back on in settings, but every time it syncs, it 'updates settings' and sets them back off again. Is there some hidden setting in GC that is doing this? I've looked in every menu I can see and there's nothing that suggests it controls the watch sounds.

Anyone else experiencing this? I've turned phone off and watch off and it still happens.

YES, i am experiencing it as well on each sync for my FR235 - on the FR235 forum section there is a new sticky from Garmin mentioning the vibration turning off (as well as the top of this forum)... they do not mention the sound alert (like for lap notices).

my watch shows a speaker with a slash through it on the top (using Actiface clock) - The mute and no-vibrate started I think this week..or last.? I think, weird bug... I really only noticed yesterday (I think), wonder if it is related to the update that came out yesterday on the App

Sound and vibration alerts reset after every sync FR235

The sound alerts and vibration alerts are being turned off when my FR235 syncs with garmin connect, very irritating. I noticed yesterday when I went out for a run, I hope they fix it soon.

Same issue with fenix 3. Users with current and previous versions of their firmware are reporting the issue.

Happened with my Edge 520. Found the sounds turned off yesterday and I'm sure I didn't do it myself. I think I might have used Garmin Connect Mobile (I'm on iOS) at some point. I'll have to check my 230 before I use it next.

Edit: Alerts and vibrations got turned off on my 230. No Bluetooth sync for the time being for me.

Same on HR+

This is also happening on the Vivosmart HR+ and I cannot find any way to reset it so the vibrations work again.
