Connect Modern on Chrome & IE

I logged in this morning as I do every day. I found that the dashboard is not displaying and the buttons on the left handside do not work. I checked the status tool at https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/status...and everything is green.

I tried clearing the cache and deleting passwords to force a refresh

Nothing works

what gives guys?
  • I wasn't able to reproduce your scenario using Disconnect via Chrome, but you might be on to something. I can't seem to get around the problem no matter what I do.

Is there a way to bypass the modern dashboard to go back to the old legacy dashboard? It may have been disabled sometime ago, but I know I used to be able to do it.
  • The legacy version was removed a while back now.
  • Ok, thanks. I assumed so but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I've had this same problem too.

Sunday night GC worked ... monday morning it didn't. Blank dashboard.

No changes to my browser, no updates to my windows... nothing on the 'client' side changed.

Neither IE nor Firefox works, so it's not browser-specific either, just as other users have reported.

As it's not just me, seems almost certain that it's a bug introduced by some GC-side change in the last 48 hours or so.
  • If its a bug I haven't got it as mine's working perfectly :)
  • Facebook Connect

    Hi all
Same problem here - until stopped blocking (by ghostery) the Facebook Connect tracker (which had always been blocked until now). Then....... da da
    working fine!
Garmin seems to have made this change very recently

    Cheers for now

Same problem here. Important to mention that I'm trying to access with a corporate workstation with the latest versions of IE and Chrome installed. It may be a filter on the corporate server that is causing the issue, but before yesterday it always worked fine.
  • It just started working for me via Chrome on my Windows laptop. I made no changes since the last time I tried. I just refreshed the page and it started working.

    Give it a try, folks.

We appreciate the discussion and apologize that this was occurring for some users. There was a fix for this issue that has been verified and it was pushed out to production a little bit ago. This issue should be resolved for all users.

If refreshing the page does not resolve the issue, please sign out and back in.
  • Worked for me, Thanks Joseph. Appreciate the communication.

If someone from Garmin is able to lookup my ticket and close it, feel free to do so.
