So I was finally able to manually upload my tcx files from mapmyfitness to garmin connect. But in doing so, I have lost all split info. When I view the activity in mapmyfitness all the split info is there and when it gets uploaded to garmin connect it makes it all into one split. Is there a way to edit this? Or does anyone know how I can upload without losing my split info?
There is currently an issue where Garmin Connect is not displaying TCX or GPX files properly. This is an issue that has been escalated to the Garmin Connect team for investigation and resolution.
Okay thanks, it appears that all kinds info is wrong when looking at it. Is there any news on if they found the problem or possibly a time estimate on fixing said problem?
Unfortunately, we do not have a time estimate on when the issue will be resolved. The last update that we received is that they are still determining the root cause. We will be able to update the threads when there is more information.
The root cause of this issue has been determined and a fix was recently deployed to Garmin Connect to resolve this issue with any files uploaded moving forward.
Any previously uploaded files that were displaying incorrectly, can be exported in the original format (Export Original) and then re-uploaded to the account.

After deleting the activites and reuploading them they still do not show any split info. Just combines it all into one split. And my best pace being 3 times more than my average pace along with my max speed being half my average speed. Nothing seems to have changed. I followed the instructions above by exporting original and it stays the same. I have also got a new tcx file from mapmyfitness along with gpx file from strava and neither upload correctly with the right info. Even a new activity uploaded yesterday after you said there was a fix still was missing split info.
We would recommend that you reach out to Garmin Product Support, over the phone so that they can collect some more specific user information regarding your experience and the TCX files that you gotten from mapmyfitness. They will also be want to collect examples of how the TCX files appeared in your account prior to the issue occurring.
