Scuba Diving

Could you please add Scuba Diving as a category under Other in the Garmin Connect drop down menu? I would add it myself but I can't find a way to manually enter a category. Thank you

Which Garmin device are you planning to take scuba diving - as far as I know none of the devices will stand up to a dive?!

Also the GPS reception is terrible. My money's on it being the Nuvi 55LM.

Adding Scuba as a sport in Garmin Connect makes total sense.

Well not sure how much sense - the devices are definitely not tested or certified for scuba so whether or not they survive it is somewhat pot luck

Also why would you want to track it on connect when your dive computer is tracking the details of the dive that the garmin device will not.

Adding Scuba as a sport in Garmin Connect makes total sense.

Adding Scuba as a sport/activity would mean Garmin is endorsing the use of their products for scuba diving, which they specifically do NOT do, and would open them up to all kinds of trouble (ie, complaints and lawsuits) as soon as someone's watch is ruined or life is threatened because they relied on their watch for critical information while diving.

Therefore, you will never see Scuba added as a sport on Garmin Connect.
