What happened to Segments?

Yesterday when I clicked on Segments, connect would give me a list of all the segments that I had completed along with a list of other's times on those segments. Today (7/31/16), all those segments seem to have gone away. Even if I search for nearby segments, none of those previous segments are found. What's up?

    What happened to Segments? Where did all the segments go?

    Yesterday when I clicked on Segments, Garmin Connect would give me a list of all the segments that I had completed along with a list of other's times on those segments. Today (7/31/16), all those segments seem to have gone away. Even if I search for nearby segments, none of those previous segments are found. What's up?

    Interesting, the above happened on connect.garmin.com. I just tried to see segments in Connect on my iPhone and, after going to Segments, all the segments that I could see yesterday were at first listed but the little spinning "update" icon came up and after the update, the entire list was gone and "No segments found" was displayed instead.

    So, the bottom line is that yesterday I had a bunch of segments listed but today there are no segments to be found at all.

    Anyone have a clue? Is this a bug?

    Thanks for the link.
    As a suggestion, instead of the small easily overlooked link at the bottom of the page, it might be better to have the "Status" link more prominent on the Help page with some explanation like "Check the current operational status of Garmin Connect features."

    Also, the status page says of segments "Due to high volume we are experiencing intermittent availability." I'm not certain that is completely accurate. There were obvious changes to the interface from yesterday to today - like the "Your Segments" page that replaced the previous segment list and the "Explore" page which, if working, would seem to allow you to search for segments. I'm guessing that it's not "high volume" that is causing the current problems but, instead, it's a bug with the rollout of the new software, features, &/or interface.

    Think that the segment part of Connect have been bad for years.

    Segments not working

    Hi,
    I am not able to see and compare any of the segments I had created on connect.
    All my segments have vanished all of a sudden and am not even able to create/save new ones.
    It allows me to create a new segment, but as soon as I refresh the page all segments dissappear again. The page says - no segments available.

    Annoying!!

    Is anyone else facing the same issue?

    still missing

    Segments have been missing, for me, for 3 days now. It seems like this is more that an intermittent problem due to heavy use.

    No segments appear for me, including segments that I have crossed in the past. Segments are completely empty.

    Agreed.
    Segments have been completely missing since Sunday 7/31/16. This does not seem to be an intermittent problem due to high volume. I would hope that Garmin would fix the problem as quickly as possible (revert to the old system?) or would update the status page with something more accurate.

    Whats happened to segments....

    Haven't ridden for a week or so and just noticed after my commute today that all the segment information that usually shows in Garmin Connect has disappeared. There was nothing for todays rides and all the historical segment data - and the segments - have disappeared.

    Can anyone shed some light on what may have happened. Is this another update issue or is it a deliberate omission and I need to sign up to another provider?
