Widget (Android version)

Hi,

you know Android supports widgets, and with large screens the result is nice and useful,
I suggest to add this feature and configurable, showing macro data, summarizing baric result of activity monitoring, barometer, HR... and so on.

What do you think about?

I'm sorry for iOS fans

thanks

Lots of things, some of which are not appropriate for discussion in an open forum. :p

    However…

The Garmin Connect Mobile app for Windows‑10 Mobile already provides summary information for Steps, Sleep, and the most recent timed activity in its (resizable) Live Tile.

Then I guess you're equally sorry for Android fans.

My personal philosophy is that configurability by users of what gets displayed in Live Tiles (on W10M or Windows Phone) or widgets (on Android) can always take a backseat. Give them the first step of actually having access to (near) real-time information from an app on a home screen – which is already a step further than what iOS offers – but only what the app developer/provider has decided they can get. Let them experience how it could work, and imagine the potential if only they had some influence or leverage; then, the questions are how they could gain that influence or leverage, and what they would offer or relinquish in exchange.

Otherwise, it's all too much of, “I want, gimme gimme gimme” and not enough of, “I want, it's worth this much to me, who wants to do a deal?” in consumer IT.
