Infuriating fits with Fenix 3

Hey guys,

I've had my Garmin Fenix 3 for several months now, and recently it just started changing units over to miles/pounds along with some other things like HR zones. I've checked every possible setting in both my mobile app (Android) and on my PC and my profile is all set correctly with just one field that won't change over to 'kilometers'.

From Garmin Express, I click 'Tools', 'Settings'. I get the web page. I go to Device Settings. Device Display says 'Units' Miles. I change that to Kilometers. Click Save. Go to Sync on the left hand side. It wants to change:
User Settings
Goal
Heartrate zones - Running
Heartrate zones - Cycling
Heartrate zones - Swimming
Heartrate zones
Powerzones

Oke - whatever. I changed some of those in the past, I've synced them a million times. It keeps coming back. I sync it all and sync is succesful. When I go back to that page where I changed miles to kilometers, it will say miles - it doesn't save!

I pick up my watch, remove USB device from Windows, unplug it and it says 'updating'. Cool.

I go to Settings, Units. Now this time (Im actually doing these steps now myself), units are metric and date/time is good. This time it didn't change units.

I go to Heartrate zones and it has removed my RHR. I set it to 55. It's in my profile and when I sync, it removes it from the watch. I set it back on the watch but a sync removes it.

In the near future (like, tomorrow, when I go for a run or cycle), I check settings and Units will have reverted to Miles/Pounds, whatever. It has been doing this every day for several days/weeks now.

Also, sometimes I notice my heartrate zones are incorrect. I see my HR and a zone, 2.8. I know that what it shows is incorrect because I know my zones so I go check zones on my watch, and it reverted to some crazy custom zones 53%-68% for zone 2 or something. My zones should be default 50-60%, 60-70%, etc.

Every time I sync, it wants to update the above list. Syncing is succesful. Next time, it comes back with that list. Sometimes settings on the watch change immediately, sometimes the next day.

The above is really starting to annoy me.

Someone please help me fix this before I go nuts.

    We appreciate your post and we apologize for the frustration. There is currently and issue with Garmin Connect reverting user settings back to default values. This is something that has been escalated to the Garmin Connect team and is expected to resolved in the very near future.

    Thanks for the prompt reply!

    Great to read that it is a known issue and it's not me screwing up somehow.

    Just one question. Could I have known about this? How or where do I check a list of known issues, reported bugs and fixes in the releases I download?

    For this particular issue there have been discussions in various Garmin Connect and device forums, since it is an issue impacting Garmin Connect. We monitor the forum discussions and do our best to communicate when issues have been escalated. We then will update the threads once the issues have been resolved.
